Pingpong trophy

$

Made a pingpong trophy as a present for a company.

For the crown I used the model made by: mjmedien, https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:195852 and made it so it can hold a pingpongbat at an 5 degree angle. The slot where the bat sits in is 10mm wide.

For the crown and base I used "variable layerheight" so the roundings and details are at 0.2mm while the smooth parts are at 0.3mm

Printed this on an Original Prusa MK2s, so the gcodes are ready to use. Before the meshbedleveling it wil wait 4 minutes to warm up.

Ender 3 Filament Guide

This is a remix of Holspeed's filament guide, which is pretty darn close to perfect, and my changes are pretty minor:

  1. I lowered the guide wheel a smidge, with the goal of aligning the bottom of the guide wheel tangentially with the extruder inlet.
  2. I opened up a little more space around the guide wheel to prevent rubbing.
  3. I added a couple fillets to the wheel's OD (also to prevent rubbing) and a chamfer on the ID to make inserting the bearing a little easier. It should be a really tight fit onto a 608 bearing.
  4. I expanded the spacer's OD into a press fit into the bearing, and the ID into a close fit for an M4-threaded bolt. I also added chamfers to make it easier to insert a M4-threaded bolt.
  5. I added a counterbore for an M4 SHCS and a pocket for an M4 nut on the other side. An M4x15 SHCS is just the right length.
  6. I filleted off a lot of the sharp corners, for purely aesthetic reasons.

The bracket is still a press-fit onto the z-carriage, and should slide on with moderate effort until its seated. No hardware required!

Enjoy!

For printing the final tip of spire, you may reduce the F/R ( printing speed) in LCD to get better quality. ( ie. from 100% to 50% ) Good luck!

Accessories for semeivan's ZIL-131 cabin

$

These accessories are for semeivan's 3D printed ZIL-131 cab: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3318101

The following cabin internals were part of the original Fusion 360 file, which was provided by semeivan and are not my design:

  • Dashboard
  • Brake
  • Throttle
  • Clutch
  • reduction lever
  • Shifting stick
  • Wheel
  • Chair

Unfortunately he removed this file in the meantime, so I decided to share them here, because I had several requests. Credit goes to semeivan.

My steering and frame parts: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3251633

Included:

  • windshield wipers
  • lenses for headlights and indicators
  • headlight protectors
  • spare wheel mechanism
  • entire rear section for the ZIL-137 tractor truck
  • frame parts for a ZIL-137B tractor trailer with hydrostatic drive
  • The coupler is compatible with WEDICO king pins and unlocked by a 9g servo

The mounting points of the spare wheel mechanism are designed for a JJRC Q60 frame. All other parts should also be compatible with a WPL frame.

BTW: the ZIL-137 is a very special truck. It has a hydrostatic drive system for the trailer. So the entire truck is 10x10 drive!

I have designed all the parts in Fusion 360

This Gearbox Keychain has two working gears. They spin smoothly and have a gear ratio of 1.5:1 (12:8). Other ratios will be uploaded soon! Use a little lube to make it run even smoother!

As always, we don't like wasting material, so we designed it in a way that you won't need any support material.

Two-Story Spec House

Architects proof-of-concept for a recent house design, explored at 1/8”=1’-0” scale, modeled from AutoCAD two-dimensional working drawings to 3D in SketchUP version 8. This project was seemingly unslicable until the recent updates of RepG 0037 and Replicator firmware 5.5. Now, almost magically, it seems to work quite well and prints reasonably fast too!

Modeled and furnished at full interior detail and designed as three detachable pieces for interactive client viewing and visualization of each level of the residence. Almost no trimming, touch-up or cleanup needed after plotting.

Kudos to those always working diligently on the hardware and software that constantly hone and perfect the tools that make our creative fun and productive work possible!

When printing, our bot is live to the web at www.justin.tv/bot14me2

Peace!

UPDATE Uploaded properly scaled .stl of the First Floor. Apologies for the oversight and many thanks to 'guus46a' and 'MangoT21' for pointing out my error!

Lucky Pig

This pig is based on a lawn ornament. It might better be called an ugly pig with a crumpled ear. See image at the left.

Two stl files are provided: a half size version, and a full version. Both are hollow with a wall thickness of just over 1 mm.

The full version has a hole in the bottom to allow filling with sand or plaster of Paris. Its volume is about 575 cc but since it is hollow the maximum amount of material used is 40 ccs.

Non Slip Screw-on Extruder Button for Anet A8

Rather than being clamped on the extruder release screw, this button is attached to the idler arm with the provided screw. It never falls off or wiggles in place. The button is quite grippy due to the ridges at the top.

It works perfectly together with Anet A8 alternative 40mm Extruder Fan Mount.

Key Fob Containers

Key Fob Containers are a simple practical way to carry things like cash to your medication on your key ring.... just in case you need it. Perfect for times when you don't want to take your wallet / bag / purse but need some cash or pills on hand.

Three different files are provided.

  • The 75mm version is made to take cash (notes). Roll up 2 - 3 notes tightly, insert into the male threaded end then screw on the base to hide away your cash.

  • The 50mm version is best suited to accommodate a couple of tablets (painkillers or capsules)

  • the Medication file is larger in diameter and shorter (approx. 25mm round x 30mm high) to take 3 - 4 pills / capsules or other small things you want to carry with you.

The three options are easy prints that provide a practical solution. Print the types that suits your need, place the items required inside then screw the parts together to secure them.

Please refer to the images and print settings for additional information. These files include a relatively fine thread that should print well on most accurate / well set up machines. However, machine and slicing app capability can affect output (in particular the threads),

Please also note there is a small collar in the base of the 50mm and 75mm container lids. This has been included as it may help with build plate adhesion on some machines. It should be easy to pull out post printing. This will open up the space up inside the caps. .

2 Tone Key Chain Safety Whistle

This is a 2 tone safety whistle I designed to have a slight, two tone sound. Although I designed this from scratch, the basic shape and size is based off of another two-tube design (credit given in the remix section).

This can be scaled up or down pretty well.

Please post your comments and makes.
